SUPERVISOR OF SPECIAL INSPECTIONS
Construction Materials Testing and Inspection
consultant/laboratory. Salary based on
experience and certification.
Duties typically include:
- Technical Supervision of Special Inspectors.
- On-site controlled inspection and reporting
of mandated structural constructions.
- Responsible for project engineering and
overall special inspections and structural tests.
- Technical review of test/inspection reports for
compliance with the construction contract
documents and the NYS building code.
- Overall supervision of certification completion.
Requirements:
- BS/MS in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer License in NYS
required.
- Minimum of 5 years of satisfactory, demonstrable
experience in conducting, supervising and evaluating
structural test and inspections.
