Construction Materials Testing and INspection of concrete
and asphalt. Plant inspection and laboratory work. Salary
based on experience and certification. Will Train.
Duties typically include:
- Assists engineers and professionals by performing a
variety of testing, project specific operations and
site assessment duties.
- Operates equipment, conducts tests/assessments and
reports data.
- Conduct field investigations.
- Work from drawings, specifications, diagrams, schematics
and specific verbal instructions.
- Uses specific methods to observe site activities, take
samples and perform tests. Makes minor adjustments and
modifications as needed.
Requirements:
- Civil schooling or background preferred.
- HS diploma or Higher.
- Valid NYS driver's license.
- Reliable transportation needed.
- ACI, soil density and/or QC/QA, OSHA, NICET, AWS,
certification very desirable.
