ENGINEERING/CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR
Testing and inspection of concrete and asphalt at Material and
Producer Plants. Civil schooling or background helpful. Will
train. ACI Grade I and Asphalt QC/QA certification desirable.
Duties typically include:
- Run analysis of sand, stone and gravel.
- Operates equipment, conducts tests/assessments and
reports data.
- Uses specific methods to observe site activities, take
samples and perform tests. Make minor adjustments and
modifications as needed.
Requirements:
- Civil schooling or background preferred.
- HS diploma or Higher.
- Valid NYS driver's license.
- Reliable transportation needed.
- ACI, soil density and/or QC/QA, OSHA, NICET, AWS,
certification very desirable.
