DRILLER/DRILL HELPER
Drive Drill Rigs to various job sites, as needed. Set-up
and breakdown of rig at each boring location. NYS CDL
License required.
Duties typically include:
- Set-up and breakdown of Drill Rig at each boring location
from 1-10 times per day.
- Repeatedly lift augers and/or casings weighing from
50-100 pounds.
- Repeatedly lift drill rods ranging in length from 2' to 10'
and weighing up to 70 pounds each.
- Use of cathead andrope to manually hoist a 140 pound
safety hammer to drive split spoon samplers.
- Skidding and hoisting brush, trees and debris to gain
access to boring locations.
Requirements:
- Civil schooling or background preferred.
- HS diploma or Higher.
- Valid NYS CDL driver's license.
- Welding experince desirable.
